Welcome to PhotoBandhu. By accessing and using our website and tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using PhotoBandhu, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

PhotoBandhu provides free online image, document, and utility tools that operate in your web browser (compression, resizing, PDF conversion, QR codes, internal barcodes, and similar). All processing is performed locally on your device. We do not store your files on our servers.

PhotoBandhu is an independent utility website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to UIDAI, GSTN, GS1, NSDL, UTIITSL, Parivahan, SSC, UPSC, or any government agency or standards body.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use our tools only for lawful personal or business purposes. You are solely responsible for how you use any output from our tools.

4. Prohibited Uses (Strictly Forbidden)

You must not use PhotoBandhu to create, assist, or facilitate:

  • Fake, forged, or altered government identity documents (Aadhaar, PAN, passport, driving licence, voter ID, etc.)
  • Counterfeit products, fake retail barcodes (EAN/UPC/GTIN), or misrepresentation of goods
  • Fraud, impersonation, phishing, or scams (including malicious QR codes or payment links)
  • Copyright or trademark infringement
  • Content that violates applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and related rules
  • Bypassing security, exam cheating, or any activity that harms others

Our barcode tool supports internal inventory codes only (Code 128 / Code 39). It is not for retail product GTINs or government ID encoding. Our photo tools help resize or compress your own photos for legitimate form uploads — not to create false identities.

5. Use of Tools — General Rules

In addition to the prohibitions above, you agree not to:

  • Use our tools for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or reproduce our website code or design
  • Use automated systems to excessively access our website
  • Process content that violates intellectual property rights of others
  • Upload or process illegal, harmful, or offensive content

6. Intellectual Property

All content on PhotoBandhu, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, code, and software, is the property of PhotoBandhu and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

The PhotoBandhu name, logo, and branding are original creations owned by PhotoBandhu. Unauthorized use of our trademarks is prohibited.

7. User Content

You retain all rights to images you process using our tools. Since processing occurs in your browser, we do not store or access your images. You are solely responsible for the content you process and any resulting use of that content.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

PhotoBandhu is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that output will be accepted by any government portal, employer, retailer, or institution. 9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PhotoBandhu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or tools.

10. Third-Party Links and Ads

Our website may contain links to third-party websites and display advertisements from third-party ad networks. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these third parties.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
